Recognising and Responding to Compassion Fatigue
In Person Delivery:
This face to face course will normally be delivered at the premises of the organisation or in a suitable local venue. The course is 6 hours in length with a minimum of 10 and maximum of 20 attendees.
This course has been adapted for online delivery via live webinar and consists of three 2-hour modules.
All courses are bespoke and are preceded by a consultation with managers and stakeholders.
Course content includes:
• Identification of the causes, risk factors, and effects of Compassion Fatigue
• Exploration of a variety of practical and sustainable self-care strategies
• Identification of techniques to foster and sustain emotional resilience
We are the only UK based training company to deliver bespoke courses designed to enable attendees to explore the impact of Compassion Fatigue on their mental health and wellbeing. Our courses are accredited by the IATP (International Association of Trauma Professionals) and the full course holds 6 CPD accreditation points.
We strongly believe that there is little point in delivering training that is not both effective and delivers sustainable results. All participants fill out a pre-course questionnaire and are then re-assessed at intervals to monitor the ongoing impact and effectiveness of the training.
The anonymised results of all monitoring and feedback are shared with the organisations who book our training.
